James Grace is currently recruiting for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join a manufacturing business in Hampshire - Andover.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, logic controllers, and mechanical knowledge to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Duties
- Design and develop electrical systems in accordance with project specifications.
- Create and interpret electrical schematics to guide installation and maintenance processes.
- Utilise AutoCAD for drafting detailed designs and layouts of electrical systems.
- Maintain existing electrical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Requirements
- Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of logic controllers and their applications.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding system integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Previous experience in a similar role is required

HNC/HND or C&G 236/232/200

Hours:

Flexible hours offered between 6am-6pm

40 hours week

Salary up to £45,000 per annum
