We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery, with the ability to work with both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail, as well as the physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assemble various structures. .

Responsibilities

  • Execute joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials.
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including masons and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
  • Ensure that all work is to design specifications.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.

  • Perform heavy lifting as necessary during the construction process.
  • Carry out painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance of completed work.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools are stored correctly after use.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in joinery or a related field such as masonry or carpentry.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work hours.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence may be advantageous
