Maintenance Engineer Position in Leicester, Leicestershire

Permanent role 

£45,000 per annum 

Candidate must have previous experience within packaging industry. 

Role Definition:

The Maintenance Engineer will oversee maintenance and repair of machinery, minimize production downtime, collaborate with managers on engineering alterations, maintain building controls, and contribute to health & safety practices.

Role Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance engineering, demonstrate strong management and communication skills, and possess relevant qualifications and certifications. They should be willing to travel when necessary.

NVQ qualification in an engineering discipline's or previous proven experience within an engineering role. 

• Certified COSHH trained
• Certified as a Risk Assessor
• Suitable Advance Engineering Qualification
• Certified as HACCP trained to Level 2 (as a minimum)
• Experience in BRC or ISO auditing compliance requirements essential
• Working at Heights, Confined Spaces
• Fire Marshall Training
• Forklift counterbalance licence
• IPAF
