Permanent position
Salary up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
Own transport required
James Grace is currently recruiting for an experienced mechanical fitter to join an engineering business on a permanent basis. The company is based on the outskirts of Stoke on Trent hence why own transport is required for this role.
Candidate must be experienced in fitting motors and gearboxes to machines/plant equipment.
The successful candidate will be required to read and interpret engineering drawings as well as using a variety of hand tools such as drills, grinders etc.
Ideal candidate for this role:
- Must have proven experience as a mechanical fitter
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Full UK driving license
- Must have previous experience in fitting motors and gearboxes to machines
